state of San Marino, Assisi and Rimini. The neighbouring villages are

In Perticara, there is a unique mining museum. The
sulphur mine, which continued working until 1964, contains the
highest concentration of sulphur in Europe. In the Mining museum
you will discover a lot about the history of Perticara and of the
ex-sulphur mine in particular.
The Mine museum Perticara is open from Tuesday till
Saturday from 9h30 till 13h00 and on Sunday and on public holidays from
15h00 to 19h00.

Walking, cycling and mountain-biking
It is a beautiful area for walks, as every hilltop conceals yet another
landscape. It is quite possible to go out on a delightful stroll in the
